1. Who we are
PassGerman is operated by TwentySix L.L.C-FZ, Meydan Grandstand, 6th floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"). Email: support@passgerman.com. These terms apply to the website passgerman.com and the PassGerman app.
2. Purchases through Paddle
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payment, invoicing, tax, payment-related customer service and refunds. When you buy Premium, you buy it from Paddle, and the Paddle Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase.
3. Your account
You need a free account to use the app. Please give a valid email address and keep your password to yourself. An account is for one person and can't be shared.
4. The free plan
The free plan includes one full telc B1 mock exam with a score for every section and short AI feedback on your writing. It costs nothing and doesn't turn into a paid plan by itself.
5. Premium
Premium costs €39.99, paid once. Where VAT applies, it is included. Premium gives you 3 months of access from the date of purchase to every PassGerman telc B1 mock exam available in the app, full AI writing feedback and answer explanations, as described on our pricing page.
Premium is not a subscription. Access ends automatically after 3 months. Nothing renews and nothing is charged again. If you want more time, you can buy Premium again at the price shown at that time.
6. Refunds and your right of withdrawal
You can get a full refund within 14 days of your purchase. How it works, and your statutory right of withdrawal, are explained in our refund policy.
7. What PassGerman is, and what it isn't
PassGerman is an independent exam preparation platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by telc gGmbH or the Goethe-Institut. Our mock exams are original and written around the telc B1 format. They are not official telc exams.
Scores in the app are an estimate of where you stand, not an official result. AI feedback is generated automatically and can contain mistakes. We can't promise that you will pass your exam.
8. Fair use
PassGerman is for your personal exam preparation. Please don't copy, publish or sell our exams, audio or explanations, share your account, or try to access the app in ways it wasn't built for. If an account is clearly misused, we may suspend it.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep PassGerman available at all times, but short interruptions for maintenance or technical problems can happen. We may improve and change the app, as long as the core of what you paid for stays available during your access period.
10. Liability
We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence, we are liable only if we breach an obligation that is essential for the contract, and only for damage that was typical and foreseeable. Mandatory consumer protection law always applies.
11. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. Changes don't affect a Premium purchase you have already made.
12. Applicable law and disputes
If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live. We are not obliged and not willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
